How long does it take a fiberglass pool to be installed?

About 7-10 days!

That is why is so many families are choosing fiberglass for their pool project. Our timeline is as follows:

Day 1-3: Excavation: Our excavator will arrive at your home (please have fence down and access to backyard ready) and commence excavating. 40 cubic yards of sand will arrive which will be used to backfill the pool. On the second day, the pool will arrive and a load of water delivered to set the pool into the ground. The third day we finish backfilling and making sure the pool is level.

Day 4-5: Plumbing: Our plumbing crew will arrive with your pool equipment and lots and lots of PVC pipe to begin plumbing your pool. This crew will also dig your utility trenches as a courtesy in preparation for the gas and electric sub contractors. NOTE THAT EVERYONE EXCEPT THE GAS GUY AND ELECTRICIAN WORK FOR CHERRY HILL CONSTRUCTION.

Day 6-7: Utility Connections. This is when the electrician wires up your pool and gas plumber connects to your heater. Depending on the scope of work to be done, this can take anywhere from a day to a few days.

INSPECTIONS: This is the point that often slows down the process.Some inspectors have limited hours and we cannot proceed to the next step until the electric and gas has been signed off on.

Day 8: BACKFILL, GRADE AND POUR: This is it. We are the home stretch. Our grading crew will arrive to backfill all the trenches and around the pool area. A concrete truck will deliver concrete for the locking collar and we will do a rough grade of the entire area.

THAT'S IT! When everything is done, we will send a service technician to clean up your pool, balance the chemicals and teach you how your equipment works.

So in less than 10 days, you are swimming and enjoying your pool.
